Effective Date: August 9, 2026
Last Updated: August 9, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of www.steadyadulting.org and its articles, downloads, worksheets, checklists, images, and other materials (collectively, the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Steady Publishing, L.L.C., a Florida limited liability company. Steady Adulting is a publication of Steady Publishing, L.L.C.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
1. General Educational Purpose
Steady Adulting provides general educational information intended to make practical life skills easier to understand. Content may address topics such as food, home care, money, work, health, learning, relationships, family, children, caregiving, planning, and everyday organization.
The Site does not provide individualized medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, credit, educational, therapeutic, safety, or other professional advice. Nothing on the Site creates a professional, advisory, fiduciary, therapeutic, medical, legal, financial, educational, or client relationship with Steady Publishing, Steady Adulting, a contributor, or an affiliate.
Visitors are responsible for evaluating information in light of their own circumstances and for consulting an appropriately qualified professional when individualized advice is needed.
2. Health and Emergency Information
Health-related content is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease, injury, or health condition. Do not disregard, avoid, or delay professional medical advice because of Site content. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing medications, supplements, diet, exercise, treatment, or other health practices.
The Site is not an emergency service. If you believe you are experiencing a medical or other emergency, call 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service immediately.
3. Financial and Legal Information
Financial and budgeting content does not constitute individualized financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance, credit, or legal advice. Laws, fees, program requirements, interest rates, eligibility standards, and financial products may change. Verify current information and seek qualified advice before making a significant decision.
4. Children, Activities, and Caregiving
Child-development, educational, recipe, and childcare materials are intended for parents, guardians, caregivers, and educators. Milestones and age ranges are general reference points and are not diagnoses or guarantees.
A responsible adult must select, adapt, and supervise activities while considering the child’s age, abilities, allergies, medical needs, developmental needs, environment, and potential choking, food, equipment, and other hazards. Concerns about a child’s health, safety, development, learning, behavior, or possible delays should be discussed with a qualified professional.
Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the Site. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of any material obtained from the Site.
5. Accuracy and Changing Information
We work to provide useful and accurate information, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, error-free, current, or suitable for every person or circumstance. References, links, laws, recommendations, prices, product features, safety standards, and other information may change after publication.
Publication dates and update dates, when provided, should be considered when evaluating content. Visitors should verify time-sensitive or high-stakes information with an authoritative current source.
6. Permitted Use
Unless a resource contains a different written license, visitors may:
View Site content for personal, noncommercial use;
Print or download a reasonable number of worksheets, checklists, or articles for personal or household use;
Share a link to an original Site page.
Visitors may not, without prior written permission:
Reproduce, republish, sell, sublicense, distribute, scrape, or commercially exploit Site content;
Upload substantial Site content to another website, platform, database, artificial-intelligence training set, product, or publication;
Remove copyright, trademark, credit, source, safety, or disclaimer notices;
Present Site content as their own or imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation;
Use the Site to violate law, infringe rights, transmit harmful code, interfere with operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
Separate licenses may apply to purchased products, classroom materials, PLR/MRR materials, or other specially designated resources. When a separate written license accompanies a resource, that license controls use of that resource.
7. Intellectual Property
Except where otherwise identified, Site content is owned by or licensed to Steady Publishing, L.L.C. and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Steady Adulting, associated logos, slogans, and branding are trademarks or service marks of Steady Publishing, L.L.C. Contributor names may be legal names or pen names. Use of a pen name does not transfer ownership of the contributor’s work or imply a professional license unless a qualification is expressly identified.
Third-party photographs, quotations, trademarks, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used under an applicable license, permission, or legal exception.
8. Affiliate Links, Sponsorships, and Reviews
The Site may contain affiliate links, sponsorships, advertisements, or product recommendations. When we have a financial, employment, family, gifted-product, or other material connection relevant to a recommendation, we will disclose that connection as required.
If a visitor uses an affiliate link, Steady Adulting may receive compensation at no additional cost to the visitor. A recommendation is not a guarantee that a product or service is appropriate for every person. Visitors should independently evaluate products, prices, terms, risks, and suitability.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites or services for convenience, citation, or additional information. We do not control third-party content, availability, security, privacy, pricing, policies, products, or services. A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement. Use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s own terms and policies.
10. Communications and Unsolicited Submissions
Messages sent to Steady Publishing do not create a confidential, fiduciary, professional, or client relationship. Do not send confidential business plans, unpublished manuscripts, story concepts, medical records, financial-account information, passwords, or other sensitive material unless we have expressly agreed in writing to receive it through an appropriate method.
We are not obligated to review, return, preserve, or compensate unsolicited creative submissions. General comments, correction notices, and ordinary business inquiries may be used to respond to the sender, maintain records, improve the Site, or protect legal rights in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
11. No Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, noninfringement, or results.
We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, secure, free of errors or harmful components, or that use of Site content will produce a particular personal, professional, educational, health, financial, or other outcome.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Steady Publishing, L.L.C., Steady Adulting, and their owners, contributors, contractors, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on Site content, inability to use the Site, third-party services, or decisions made using general educational information.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to every visitor.
13. Changes, Suspension, and Removal
We may correct, update, reorganize, suspend, or remove Site content or features at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the Site, users, rights, or security.
14. Privacy
Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy concerning personal-information practices, the Privacy Policy controls for that issue.
15. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Sarasota County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Severability and No Waiver
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms as the Site, our services, or legal requirements change. Revised Terms will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
